A Field of Collaboration brings together five projects developed by Sofia Crespo and Anna Ridler between 2023 and 2025.

The book follows an ongoing exchange between their practices, bringing machine learning into conversation with photography, botanical study, cyanotype, and other tactile processes. Across the projects, image making becomes a way to attend to classification, perception, transformation, and the forms of knowledge held within living systems.

Commissioned by Arab Bank Switzerland as part of the 2025 Artist of the Year award, the publication includes four critical essays and an interview. Edited by Charlotte Kent and published by Hatje Cantz.
